Founded in 2004, formed into an LLC in 2017, Reese's HVAC started with a mission to provide superior customer service throughout the Chicagoland area. Through our hard work and dedication, we have grown to become one of only a few federally certified HVAC company in the state of Illinois.

As HVAC specialists, we offer a range of HVAC services including FEMA disaster response, commercial HVAC installation, and residential HVAC services.
We are a SAM Certified Small Business, licensed with the ICC Commission to install and service Energy-Efficient HVAC systems, and certified through the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency).
As a Certified Minority, Veteran, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, Reese’s HVAC has had to overcome many obstacles to get where we are today. From this, our ability to adapt to changing circumstances has made us a force to be reckoned with in our industry.

Maurice Cotton, Founder and HVAC Specialist with over 24 years of experience. First generation sheet metal worker, proud veteran, and local Chicago native.
About Maurice
My journey into the HVAC industry began in 1999 after serving in the Army National Guard for seven years. I had the privilege of working with my uncle, James Hinton, who was the owner of Auburn Central Heating of Chicago for over 50 years. Under his guidance, I quickly learned the trade and gained extensive on-the-job training. Working alongside the journeyman of his company, I earned the title of 1st generation sheet metal worker.
In 2000, I joined the Sheet Metal Workers Union “SMW Local 73” where I further honed my craft, graduating in 2004 as a qualified sheet metal and HVAC contractor with expertise in safety, drafting, planning, fabrication, layout, installation, and theory.
My passion for HVAC led me to establish myself as an independent contractor starting in 2004, and an LLC in 2017, where I was able to continue in my late Uncle’s legacy in providing the Chicagoland area with quality HVAC services.
With my vast knowledge in the field, I have been able to deliver top-notch HVAC services to both residential and commercial clients. I am a problem-solver, learning about the latest technology and techniques in the field to continue delivering the best possible services, with an emphasis on energy-efficiency.
In addition, I pride myself on my excellent customer service skills. I am always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that my clients' needs are met. My experience, combined with my commitment to excellence, makes me an asset to any team or project.
